Chairmanfs Greetings, 2014

Today, if it is revealed that the management have not taken appropriate measures to prevent industrial injuries, the management will be criminals and also be charged claims for a high amount of compensation for damages.
With partial amendment of the Industrial Safety and Health Law, proclaimed 25 Jun. 2014, such system has come to be established that the companies that have incurred serious industrial injuries recurrently in their multiple sites will be recommended to develop  the improvement plan, and, if they fail to do that, their names will be disclosed in public. Complying only with laws and regulations does not work out any longer.
On the other hand, companies suffering from the concerns and issues including the following tend to increase in number:
EBaby boomers have retired, and the experience and knowledge of industrial safety and health@@@
@have been discontinued.

EEither human resource development or technology impartment is insufficient; the hazard recognition@@@@@@@
@capability in the organization has decreased; safety and health activities have @become lacking@ in substance; @the field capability has decreased.

EA health manager is in place, but how to manage safety is elusive.
EMental health issues such as depression and new type of depression are not well coped with.
Our branch is the largest in the Japan Association of Industrial Safety and Health Consultants, being the expert group comprising the people with many years of experiences in safety and health within the government or companies, industrial physicians, dentists, health nurses, et al. including baby boomers who survived the high-growth period when industrial injuries occurred frequently. The consultants always endeavor to train themselves. To respond to customer requests, the consultants can work not only individually, but also can work organizing expert teams. We ensure accurate response to concerns and issues which customers may have.
The governmental 12th plan for prevention of industrial injuries aims at realizing the society that is safe and healthy for anybody to work in, requiring joint effort of the public and private sectors. The members of our branch have a strong will to contribute to the society by helping companies improve the level of industrial safety and health. Please feel free to contact us and utilize us.
